I LOVE this!x
My favourite Alice in Wonderland movie by far. I love the dark creepiness. The depictiopn of The White Rabbit is delivered perfectly to my mind!-sinister & weird! Other parts to this amazing movie can be viewed on youtube. Check out the Queen of Hearts & Jabberwocky clips. It took Svankmajer TWO years to make using stop motion technique. A method that he has used in other fabulous movies too. A preternatural accomplishment this movie is seemingly simple without all the Hollywood accoutrements yet would be hard to duplicate. Of course HIS Wonderland vision was key. Just FABULOUS!

awesome!
This is great!
Whoa, welcome to Weirdtown.
Leave it to Queen of the Baggleys to lead the way ;D
(love it!)
Hello Rainey! I must apologise for not getting over here for an AGE! I know Face Book doesn't count either, as I am absolutely useless on that too. Anyway, I always love catching up with you on your blog and what you've been up to! Love this version of Alice, btw. I'd never seen it before???! Also, your clown painting is so eerily supernatural - that white face gives me the perfect set of heebeejeebees...ha ha. Gorgeous!
Very interesting! I've added it to my Netfix cue!
I just added some very cool Alice and Wonderland paper cuts to my store today as well as some really cool Dark Dolls! They made me think of you :).
xoxo,
Kristin
For some reason the clip doesn't want to load right now but I'm pretty sure I know which movie this is and it's my favorite too!!! and yes, it is very hard to find, you're lucky to have it :) Thanks for dropping by my blog, I didn't even consider that the little lamb was being chased! Oh my!
Love this Alice. The dolls and Rabbit too! One of my followers just sent me it's link as well.
I love your blog and your ooak pieces are fantastic! I have posted your website on The GTS Facebook Page. Please let me know of any events you are doing in the near future so I can spread the word!

That looks very cool. Never heard of it before (although I don't watch a lot of Alice movies). I'll have to see if I can track it down somehow to watch.

bit slow for me but very cool. creepy rabbit.
Oh! One of my all-time favorite films and filmmaker! His films are like dreams... So surreal and dark, yet beautiful, slow and savory. Thank you for visiting my blog! :)
Hi Rainey - I had a huge giggle this morning when I saw your comment on my latest blog posting, ha ha! I think that might be my next ACEO challenge: bunny ears on long since dead women, handing out bread rolls! Your so funny! I am actually REALLY looking forward to Disney's 3d Alice - it looks pretty darn good, even if cinemas around the world are boycotting it because Disney wil soon release the DVD (more power to the consumer, I say!).
I'm off to netflix...I must check this out.I'm looking forward to the new one as well. Thanks for sharing it!!Warmest Regards,Cat
This is a great movie. One of my faves! The new 3-D one looks superb as well! Wendy =i=
Svankmajer's work is what a medieval alchemist might have made, had they had the technology in the dark ages.
Hi Rainey! This is definitely one of my favorites too! Thanks for sharing! I haven't seen it for awhile. Creative Blessings to you!
Hugs,
Lisa :)

I'm thinking maybe you should visit Karla's Cottage and take part in her Alice in Wonderland tag swap! There's a link to her site on The Marmelade Gypsy (my real blog, which you can link to from Chopsticks and String!) I'm doing my tags this weekend!
